NginX is an HTTP and reverse proxy server, as well as a mail proxy server, written by Igor Sysoev. It has been in use for more than five years at very busy sites. According to Netcraft, the nginx server filed or provided service to 4.70% of the busiest sites in April 2010.
All of our shared hosting servers run NginX as a primary HTTP server, while the Apache server runs in the background for additional operations (HTACCESS commands, SSL handling, etc.).
Customers who have a dedicated virtual server / server can contact our support and install NginX on demand. NginX can also be installed on Cpanel servers.
